District Announcement .

It has come to the District’s attention that concerns have been raised regarding the Brightstar contract, the Board, and former community manager Beau McMahon. The District is providing the following clarification to ensure residents have accurate information.

In September 2025, the Board solicited bids from three management companies to replace MSI due to ongoing performance issues that had been discussed at the September Board meeting. After reviewing all proposals, the Board selected Brightstar because their bid was thorough, their cost structure was transparent, and the assigned district manager would be Beau McMahon, who had previously worked with the community and performed exceptionally. At that time, the Board had no knowledge that Mr. McMahon intended to form his own company.

For the past six months, Mr. McMahon has fulfilled his responsibilities effectively, and the Board has been satisfied with his performance. On Tuesday, April 7th, the Board was informed that Mr. McMahon was no longer employed by Brightstar. That same day, the Board directed Brightstar to immediately assign a new manager and notify all homeowners, which was completed.

While questions regarding District fees, budgets, spending, or other financial matters can be addressed during public comment at Board meetings, Board member email addresses are available on the website for any resident who wishes to contact us directly.   Meeting minutes and financial documents are publicly available to all homeowners on the District’s website.

Board members are homeowners elected by the community, and all decisions are made with the community’s best interests in mind.
